This week’s PetMeds featured adoptable pet is Amber. Can you give this beautiful girl the forever home she has been hoping for?
Hi my name is Amberlyn, aka Amber. I’m a young girl about 10 months old. I’m very sweet girl and I’m looking for my forever home. Here is a little about me: Before I came to NHCD, I lived with a very nice family but then they lost our home and they couldn’t keep me any more so they turned me in to the Apache Junction shelter. Then this nice lady came to meet me and the next thing I knew I was out of the shelter and taken to my foster home. There were other dogs there. I was a little nervous at first but then I realized I was safe.
I love to run and play ball and I even like to play by myself. I think it is really fun to throw the toy up in the air and run around. I like to be with other dogs that are nice and want to play. I would like to have a brother to play with or even being the only dog is great. I like kids although I’m not too sure about the cats, but I can be cat tested to make sure that I can live with them.
I’m a pretty smart girl. I know basic commands, sit, wait, and I walk very well on the leash. I love going for car rides; I just curl up in a ball and go to sleep. I’m housebroken, crate trained and doggie door trained, spayed up-to-date on shots and microchipped. I’m not a high energy girl but I love to go for walks and play or just cuddle with you. Do you have room in your home for a sweet girl like me?
