Adoptable pet spotlight: Meet Brinda

Looking for a sweet and well-behaved family dog? Look no further than Brinda, a bulldog mix who had a rough start in start. She’s currently at Ruf Creek Ranch in North Carolina.

Brinda is about 2 years old, a plotthound/bulldog mix female that we found running down a busy highway when she was a puppy.  She’s had some issues with flea allergies, which is why she has not been offered for adoption, but with a new protocol, all of her hair has grown back and she is gorgeous!  Spayed, current on all shots and deworming, wonderful on leash, loves people.  Good with other dogs – prefers males, but gets along with females.  Crate trained.  Small to medium sized, weighs about 35-40 lbs.

Brinda is available for adoption through Ruf Creek Ranch Animal Rescue and Adoption Center in Smithfield, NC. Please email Joy at or call (919) 398-5230 if you are interested in visiting the ranch and Brinda.
