Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Cara

Today’s PetMeds adoptable pet is Cara.  Can you give Cara the love and attention she has been missing in her life? Cara is currently in a south Florida foster home.

Cara and her 4 babies were rescued from a high kill shelter. She is approximately 1 year old. She is a young Mom that hasn’t had a chance in life. She has not had anyone to love her and give her the attention we all deserve…She longs to be held and petted and to have a real home. She is such a good Mom to her kittens, so patient and loving. She is a gentle soul who lets you do anything to her, trim her nails, etc. She even tolerates the resident Yorkie licking her face! She has beautiful green eyes and a face that is so expressive. She has gorgeous Tabby/Calico markings. She wants to be part of a family and would be wonderful around children and other pets.

Cara is spayed, Felv/FIV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated, fecal tested negative and on monthly flea prevention.

Cara is being fostered in Deerfield Beach, FL. For more information, contact kate@ladyluckanimalrescue.com or fill out an adoption application on our website under the “adopt a pet” tab at Lady Luck Animal Rescue and email it in.

About author

Abby Rosenberg

Abby Rosenberg is a PetMeds employee and long-time cat lover. She was a volunteer for several years at a local no-kill cats only rescue shelter. This has prepared her for her most challenging role to date: secretary, photographer, social coordinator and treat dispenser for Daisy, and Daisy’s sidekick Harley. Daisy is a dilute calico Devon Rex cat, and Harley is a “cow-cat” who was adopted from the shelter where Abby volunteered. You can also find Abby on Google+
