Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Chocolate

Today’s PetMeds adoptable  pet is Chocolate, a four year old Bull Terrier Mix who was found on the streets of Delray Beach , Florida.

Chocolate had several medical issues but the costliest was her $3,000 ACL repair ( knee surgery). Dezzy’s Second Chance Animal Rescue raised the money by doing adoption and other various events. She has been spayed, is up to date on her yearly vaccines, de-wormed, microchipped, has her Rabies tag and recently had a dental. PLUS, all the rescues come with a one month free pet insurance from Trupanian.

Chocolate is totally house-broken. She is the type of dog that can be taken anywhere. Actually, she was taken inside the Boca Town Center Mall for a few adoption events and she proved to be wonderful and loving to adults and children alike.

One thing which we recently discovered is her fear of thunder and lightning so her Thundershirt has been ordered and on its way. For a 60 lb. dog she is a big lap dog. To be loved and feel safe is all she asks from you.

If you feel you can give it to her contact Dezzy’s Second Chance for an application. Or call for more info about Chocolate at 954-588-7045.
