Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Chubby!

This week’s PetMeds adoptable pet spotlight is on Chubby, a Collie/Labrador Retriever mix hoping for a forever home of her own:

Chubby is a Collie/Labrador Retriever mix

Chubby (aka Chubs) was pulled from Vidalia Animal Control where she had been held for two years after being picked up as a stray.  During those 2 years, she was rarely out of her 10 by 10 kennel.  Chubby is now living happily in a foster home placement where she has the chance to run and play on the exercise yard each day.  Chubby gets along well with other dogs.  She is spayed and up to date on shots.  All this girl wants is a home of her own and some love and attention.

Chubby is available for adoption through the Sweet Onion Animal Protection Society in Vidalia, Georgia.  For more information, visit their website at

Abby Rosenberg

Abby Rosenberg is a PetMeds employee and long-time cat lover. She was a volunteer for several years at a local no-kill cats only rescue shelter. This has prepared her for her most challenging role to date: secretary, photographer, social coordinator and treat dispenser for Daisy, and Daisy’s sidekick Harley. Daisy is a dilute calico Devon Rex cat, and Harley is a “cow-cat” who was adopted from the shelter where Abby volunteered. You can also find Abby on Google+

I hope someone gives this beautiful dog a good home. She will lose weight fast once she can get good food and regular exercise. She looks so happy to be out in the grass!
