Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Little Miss Jackie

This week’s PetMeds featured adoptable pet is Little Miss Jackie. She’s a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier with lots of love to give.  Can you provide the loving, cuddly lap to curl up in that Little Miss Jackie is yearning for?

Hi, my name is Little Miss Jackie.  I’m a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier.  I’m full grown and weigh about 13 lbs.

I know lots of commands already I know sit, stay, shake, no and cage.  I’m already crate trained and will even put myself to bed when I’m tired. I’m mostly house trained.  I know to go outside when you take me but sometimes I get a little excited and forget to tell you.  I’m working hard on getting better at that. I love to take walks and explore my surroundings.

I especially love kids.  I’m good with kids of all ages and just love to give them kisses while they pet me. I do get stressed around other dogs and would do best as the only dog in a home.

I’m spayed and up to date on all my shots. My adoption fee is $200.

If you think I would be a good fit for your family please fill out an adoption application today at Paws and Prayers or email my foster mommy at

Abby Rosenberg is a PetMeds employee and long-time cat lover. She was a volunteer for several years at a local no-kill cats only rescue shelter. This has prepared her for her most challenging role to date: secretary, photographer, social coordinator and treat dispenser for Daisy, and Daisy’s sidekick Harley. Daisy is a dilute calico Devon Rex cat, and Harley is a “cow-cat” who was adopted from the shelter where Abby volunteered. You can also find Abby on Google+
