Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Marshmallow

This week’s PetMeds adoptable pet spotlight is on Marshmallow, a handsome Longhaired Whippet mix located in south Florida.  Marshmallow has been in foster care for about 6 months, and would love to find a forever home of his own:

My name is Marshmallow.  I am a Longhaired Whippet mix looking for a forever home.  I am up to date on my vetting have been neutered and have taken all my Pet Meds.  I was rescued once before from a puppy mill; however, after 4 years my previous owner surrendered me to SOS 4 PAWS RESCUE.  The good news is SOS 4 PAWS found me an immediate foster family and I am now staying with them and their boxer.

I am learning to eat regular meals, play like a doggie, and socialize with other dogs.   I used to be picky about my food, because I used to eat cat food, now my doctor has me on Hills Gastrointestinal Health food and I am gaining weight.  I love riding in cars, going for walks, gentle petting on my ears, chin and chest, and my new favorite is playing with a ball.  I would prefer a forever home with another small dog but no cats, where I can be loved, and grow old with you. Paws crossed that you will call.  If you are interested please e-mail us at melody@sos4paws.com

Abby Rosenberg

Abby Rosenberg is a PetMeds employee and long-time cat lover. She was a volunteer for several years at a local no-kill cats only rescue shelter. This has prepared her for her most challenging role to date: secretary, photographer, social coordinator and treat dispenser for Daisy, and Daisy’s sidekick Harley. Daisy is a dilute calico Devon Rex cat, and Harley is a “cow-cat” who was adopted from the shelter where Abby volunteered. You can also find Abby on Google+
