Adoptable pet spotlight: Meet Oreo!

Oreo is one easy-going hunk! This handsome boy is available for adoption through Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Norwalk, CT.

Talk about a cute cookie! Oreo is five years old, and we hear that he loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed. He even makes cooing sounds at his favorite people, and this easy-going boy doesn’t mind being picked up and held. Oreo had lived in the same home with one older person for his entire life, until his person became homeless.

Oreo is playful and does well with other cats. Even though he’s used to living with one other person, he’s handled shelter life pretty well and would probably do well with older kids.

Oreo is available for adoption through Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Norwalk, CT. Find out more about Oreo by contacting PAWS at (203)750-9572. You can also find an online contact form and online adoption form on the PAWS website.

Abby Rosenberg is a PetMeds employee and long-time cat lover. She was a volunteer for several years at a local no-kill cats only rescue shelter. This has prepared her for her most challenging role to date: secretary, photographer, social coordinator and treat dispenser for Daisy, and Daisy’s sidekick Harley. Daisy is a dilute calico Devon Rex cat, and Harley is a “cow-cat” who was adopted from the shelter where Abby volunteered. You can also find Abby on Google+

As a longtime volunteer at PAWS, I can attest to the fact that Oreo is WONDERFUL cat. He loves to play and run around, but (as you can see from the second and third pictures) his number one favorite thing is snuggling with his human friends. And everyone can use some more love in their lives, right? :)

Thank you so much for featuring our sweet buddy, PetMeds. Hopefully, this will help him find the forever home he so deserves.
