Gabby’s rescue story

One of our local pet rescue agencies (HAHSAL) found our dog in the street about two months ago.  She was just at a year old and she was so emaciated that her organs were going to shut down.  They took her in, took her to the vet, fattened her up, had her spayed and had her picture up on their facebook page for adoption.  One look at those ears and we knew she would be our forever dog. Our dog, Munchkin, had passed away 6 years ago at the age of 13 and I didn’t think I would ever love another dog again.  Well, boy was I wrong.  This is the best little dog!! She is so sweet! We’ve had her for two weeks now and she’s really starting to come out of her shell and has made herself at home!!

Thank you for sharing Gabby’s rescue and adoption story with us, Barbara! It sounds like the rescue agency found her just in time, and we’re so glad she’s a part of your family now.
