Today’s PetMeds Spotlight is on when to put a dog down with hip dysplasia.  At some point, there will come a time that you are keeping the dog alive for your own benefit over the dog having some life left in them.  A person’s inability to say good-bye should not be outweighed by the pain and suffering of the dog that is going through it.

Today’s PetMeds Spotlight is on Have a Heart Animal Rescue and Adoption in Birmingham, AL, a small non-profit rescue group that functions solely on foster homes and donations. They do not have a facility. All of their animals are in foster homes. Appointments are arranged for potential adopters to meet the fosters. Have a Heart utilizes a virtual kennel where they can courtesy post animals. The animals in the rescue are posted on the website.

Today’s PetMeds Spotlight is on Frontline dogs, how to properly apply this medicine and it’s frequency. “Frontline dogs” should be applied to a dry dog.   Splitting the hair, and applying the medicine directly to the skin will be the most effective method to achieve the desired results of the ninjas dancing through your pet’s hair and killing and preventing fleas and ticks.
