This week’s PetMeds adoptable pet spotlight is on Chance, located in the Chicago, IL area. This lovable boy was at an open admission shelter but after winning the hearts of the staff, he made his way to rescue. Chance is such a great dog that he went to a veterinary camp for children for a week where he learned some basic commands and received lots of socialization. Could you provide the forever home that Chance is yearning for?
Chance is a loveable lug of a guy who enjoys romping around in a yard and, though he’d much prefer to have your company, he’ll even toss his toys up in the air to himself for entertainment. Though he may pretend he is oblivious at first, this fella knows “sit” and “down” too! At only 2 years old, Chance is a fun-loving guy who keeps all who know him entertained with his goofy antics.
In addition to his endearing personality, this is one handsome boy with beautiful bi-colored eyes too. Though Chance does well greeting other dogs and does not have any leash reactivity, he does feel a little too protective of his food and toys to go to a home with canine friends. We think Chance would really thrive in a suburban setting with some room to stretch those long legs but are certainly open to city adopters too.
As with all One Tail at a Time dogs, Chance is vaccinated, neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped, and dewormed. His adoption fee of $200 helps offset our medical costs. Please submit all inquiries and applications to Anna at firstname.lastname@example.org. To access our adoption survey and see the other dogs looking for a home please go here.
While Chance does wonderfully greeting other dogs on walks, he has some resource guarding issues with other animals (which do not transfer in any way to people) and needs to be the only pooch in his forever home.
