Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Annie

This week’s PetMeds adoptable  pet is Annie.  Eight year old Annie has already been through so much! Can you provide the loving home she needs to complete her miraculous transformation?

Annie was just recently rescued from a shelter in DeKalb, Georgia.  She is an owner surrender.  The lady who had her was in her 90’s and could barely care for herself, let alone Annie.  She was left outside, ungroomed for three years.  She is blind and Heartworm positive.  She weighs only 13 pounds.

Obviously we’re trying to fatten her up!  Once at a better weight she’ll be treated for heartworm and will be ready for adoption.  She is very loving and would be a great pet for the right family.  Who knew there was such a beautiful girl underneath all that fur.
