Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Max!
Posted by Abby Rosenberg on August 1, 2012
Filed under PetMeds Spotlight

This week’s PetMeds adoptable pet spotlight is on Max.  He is an 8 year-old male wire-haired Doxie located in south Florida.  Can you give Max the loving home he deserves?

Max is an 8 year young male wire-haired Doxie.

“My name is Max and I am a 8 year young male wire-haired Doxie.  I am housebroken, up to date on my shots, have been given all my medications, healthy, I like dogs and I love to cuddle and sleep in bed.”

Max’s Mom has MS and during the last few years, things have gotten really bad to the point where she needed to have 14 surgeries in her hips to be able to walk.  During the last few months, Max’s mom was almost crippled and in a lot of pain and was barely able to walk.  Max’s other brothers were adopted by friends and one died because she could not afford to pay for the surgery that he needed.  Max’s Mom had no alternative but to surrender Max to SOS 4 Paws, where she could rest easy knowing they would find him the perfect home.  Max was well cared for, he is extremely loving, is used to sleeping in the bed, he is wee wee pad and outdoor trained.

We would like to find a home where Max can live out the rest of his life.   Paws crossed that you will call.  If you are interested please e-mail us at melody@sos4paws.com
