Gigi’s Rescue Story
Posted by Abby Rosenberg on May 10, 2013

We rescued/adopted GiGi last November after she tragically lost both of her human parents.  Her mom died of a sudden heart attack and two months later her dad was shot and killed while she and her brother were in the house.  Both my husband and I fell in love as soon as we saw her.  We took her home that night to meet her two Beagle sisters and her two sister kitties and brother kitty.  She was very depressed for awhile but slowly came around.  Then, surprise!  Gi is going to be a mommy!  Dec 26th she blessed us with 5 beautiful pups!  We gave 4 away and kept little Peanut, who has been a joy!

We are so happy to have GiGi and Peanut.  They are the love of our lives!  P.S…they love to go on trips in the motorhome too!

Thank you for sharing Gigi and Peanut’s rescue and adoption story with us!

We’d love to feature your rescue dog or cat here, too! Just email PetMeds at rescuepet@petmeds.com and share your pet’s adoption story and a photo or two of your own rescue dog or cat.
