Rescue Spotlight: Little Rascals Rescue

Little Rascals Rescue is a non-profit rescue group that focuses on saving those animals that other rescues are not able to save, such as those animals with medical and behavioral issues. Located in Arizona, this rescue and sanctuary is dedicated to reducing the numbers of animals that are euthanized, and they remind us that for every animal adopted two are saved: when you adopt a pet from them, this allows the rescue to save another animal from the euthanasia list.

The Little Rascals Rescue website has information about dogs and cats that are available for adoption. Because this is a foster-based rescue, if there is a pet that you are interested in adopting, you are asked to contact the foster whose number and email are included in the pet bio. You can also meet adoptable animals at their regular adoption events. All of the dogs and cats available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, health checked, and are current on their vaccinations.

If you are not able to adopt but would like to help this group, Little Rascals Rescue gratefully accepts your tax-deductible monetary donation. They also appreciate donations of necessary supplies such as pet food, treats, toys, towels, cat litter, leashes, etc.  PetMeds was proud to help support Little Rascals Rescue with a donation of pet supplies.

About author

Abby Rosenberg

Abby Rosenberg is a PetMeds employee and long-time cat lover. She was a volunteer for several years at a local no-kill cats only rescue shelter. This has prepared her for her most challenging role to date: secretary, photographer, social coordinator and treat dispenser for Daisy, and Daisy’s sidekick Harley. Daisy is a dilute calico Devon Rex cat, and Harley is a “cow-cat” who was adopted from the shelter where Abby volunteered. You can also find Abby on Google+
