Roxy’s Rescue Story

This week, Melanie S. shares Roxy’s rescue and adoption story with us:

Roxy was rescued from Paws and Prayers Animal Rescue

We rescued Roxy from Paws and Prayers Animal Rescue.  She was a 10 month old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix who had lived tied to a tree while people threw rocks at her.  She had terrible separation anxiety when we got her.  She was afraid to go on the grass because the tree she was tied to was on a concrete slab.  Early this year she became deathly ill and we thought we were going to lose her.  She was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease.  If we had not rescued her, she surely would not be alive today.  She has matured into the sweetest, most gentle pet you could ask for!!

Thank you for sharing Roxy’s rescue story with us, Melanie! We’re so glad Roxy found a loving forever home with you.
