Shelter Spotlight: Glynn County Animal Services
Posted by Abby Rosenberg on January 15, 2012
Filed under PetMeds Spotlight

Glynn County Animal Services is dedicated to finding homes for homless animals in Glynn County.

Glynn County Animal Services is a department of the Glynn County Government, with a shelter located in Brunswick, Georgia.  They have a small staff of dedicated employees working to find Forever homes for the homeless animals in Glynn County.  The mission of Glynn County Animal Services is to reduce the number of unwanted litters by educating the public about responsible pet ownership and spaying and neutering their pets.

They also have a mobile adoption unit which you may find at various locations within the county on Saturdays.  Glynn County Animal Services has a website with a listing of their adoptable animals, which includes both dogs and cats.  They do especially encourage you to consider adopting an older pet.

How can you help? Glynn County Animal Services gladly accepts donations which you can make securely through PayPal.  Your donations ensure that the dogs and cats adopted from Glynn County Animal Services are all spayed or neutered before adoption. Donations are also used to provide veterinary care, and supplies such as dog beds. They also appreciate donations of supplies such as pet food, cat litter, blankets, and cleaning supplies, and are also always in need of volunteer.
