The 2012 Huff and Ruff Dog Walk/Run

Last month, the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce hosted the first annual Huff and Ruff Dog Walk/Run, featuring a 2.5 mile stroll along the riverfront. The event, which helped raise money for the Heartland Humane Society, was a great success, providing a fun outing for both the human and doggie participants. Dogs of all shapes and sizes had a good time leading their human friend along the trail. Those without dogs of their own were not left out, as they were encouraged to walk one of the adoptable dogs from the Heartland Humane Society.  Prizes were awarded for Top Fundraiser, Best Costume (dog), Best Costume (human) and Best Matching Costumes.

PetMeds was proud to help support this great event with a donation of pet supplies.

Abby Rosenberg

Abby Rosenberg is a PetMeds employee and long-time cat lover. She was a volunteer for several years at a local no-kill cats only rescue shelter. This has prepared her for her most challenging role to date: secretary, photographer, social coordinator and treat dispenser for Daisy, and Daisy’s sidekick Harley. Daisy is a dilute calico Devon Rex cat, and Harley is a “cow-cat” who was adopted from the shelter where Abby volunteered. You can also find Abby on Google+
