To Whom It May Concern:
I am a member of the English Mastiff Rescue League in the San Antonio, TX area. I do travel the state, from Corpus to Lubbock in order to save this wonderful breed from shelters and private homes. I then foster and help get the dog back to health before interviewing, inspecting and approving a particular dog for a certain family or person.
With that being said, I am currently approved for SSI Disability which will begin at the end of November and do not have the means to purchase Trefethix (sic) for flea infestation and heartworm (after checking for it). My current dogs are indeed a great host for others and the property but I could really use some financial assistance on the product. I am hoping that you will be the answer to my prayers. The dogs must have their health issues rectified immediately so as to save them and be able to place as well.
You may reach me personally at 210-823-0087 or by e-mail at susanfingerhut@aol.com. I thank you so very much, in advance, for your kindness and consideration regarding the adoption/foster program for English Mastiffs. You may contact Anne at MYKANN@AOL.COM for all further information about the league itself.
Warmest regards and many thanks for your kindness.

Rescue ME Clifford on 22 Jan 2013 at 10:05 am #
Dear PetMeds:
The above 501 c 3 rescue group could definitely use your assistance. This group is located in East Central, Illinois. We work primarily with what was a high kill shelter 99%. In sixteen months we have decreased euthenization rate to less than 1%. The only dogs put down were very violent or extremely sick. In this time period, we rescued and adopted out or sent to safe licensed shelters 213 dogs and 4 cats. We have 15 more in foster homes.
Rescue ME Clifford treats dogs medical and emotional conditions, regardless of the cost. We have spent over $2000 on two different dogs (Parvo), $1200 on one dog (Cherry Eyes) and $800 on at least 5 heartworm positive dogs. Our adoption fee is low and thus we survive on donations, grants and other forms of assistance.
Please consider Rescue ME Clifford for your grant. We could use your help!

Dear PetMeds:
CATNOIR.org a 501c3 Animal Welfare Charity that could use your assistance. Located in Telford, Pa. we work with local no kill shelters to support the numerous cats, dogs, horses and small animals in their care. Thru their adoption programs they have successfully been able to find new homes for most of the residents, but struggle with those animals who are sick or less than healthy at time of visit which makes them less then favored at time of adoption.
CATNOIR.org also works with pet owners who struggle with paying medical bills for animal medications at their time of need. We are working tirelessly to make a difference today. Our organization is all volunteer and work towards donations, sponsorships and grants to provide not only products and funding, but to support our communities needs as well.
Please consider CATNOIR.org, we would appreciate your help.
