Adoptable pet spotlight

Adoptable pet alert! This young, cuddly dog was found as a stray and is now looking for a forever home! She’s available for adoption through the Stokes County Animal Shelter in Germantown, NC.

Adoptable dog in NC

Unfortunately, the county she is in does not allow the shelter to name adoptable pets, so all we have is an ID number for her (090101D). This sweet girl not only deserves a name, but also a forever home to go with it.

She is approximately 3 years old and weighs in at 50 pounds. The shelter is calling her a Shepherd mix. While she is not currently spayed, her $60 adoption fee will cover her spay surgery and rabies vaccine.

This young dog loves to snuggle and make new friends with other dogs. She is not okay with cats. While she came in as a stray, they say she quickly warms up to all people she meets.

This girl deserves a loving family to call her own and a name. If you’re interested in adopting her, or if you’re part of a rescue interested in pulling her from the shelter, please contact the Stokes County Animal Shelter in Germantown, NC about dog # 090101D. They can be reached by email at animalshelter@co.stokes.nc.us or by phone at (336) 994-2788.

Note: If you’re affiliated with a rescue or shelter and would like PetMeds to feature one of your group’s adoptable pets, please email us at rescuepet@petmeds.com.
