Adoptable pet spotlight: Alpine

Are you looking for a young, smart dog to add to your family? Meet Alpine! This australian cattle dog is available for adoption through the Texas Cattle Dog Rescue.

After his owner passed away, Alpine found himself in a Texas shelter, alone and confused. And to add insult to injury, he’s also deaf. Without a lot of options, Alpine was rescued from the shelter by Texas Cattle Dog Rescue. He immediately began to blossom. Alpine is a super sweet dog who loves to play and follow his people. He is very smart and has already mastered several sign language commands including sit, down, stand, shake, high five and wait. His foster parents are working on other commands and tricks including jumping through a hoop, drop it, and off. He is a fast learner and wants to please–and treats help! He’d make a great companion and is also fine with cats. Alpine is just under a year old. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Alpine is available for adoption from Texas Cattle Dog Rescue in Fort Worth, TX. For more information, contact
