Adoptable pet spotlight: Caly

Are you looking for an active, kid-and-dog-friendly dog to add to your family? Meet Caly! This Catahoula/ German shepherd cross is available through Paws and Hands United.

Caly is a beautiful 4 year old catahoula/German shepherd mix. She is such a sweet girl. Caly came to us after being a shelter for 4 months with no interest. She was so shy and scared when we got her, but she has come so far! She completed Canine Good Citizen training at our local Petco. She loves kids and other dogs but likes to chase and tease cats.

She is active and needs an active home with lots of exercise. She requires a fenced yard because she will run off if she gets scared, and she also chases wildlife. She loves to sit outside in the sun so a yard is essential for her. She would do best in a home with other dogs as she has separation anxiety and if she is kenneled alone, she gets very upset. She does fine loose in the house with another dog or kenneled next to another dog while her foster family is gone. She needs the perfect home that will love and spoil her the way she deserves!

Caly is available for adoption through Paws and Hands United in southwest Missouri. To apply to adopt Caly, visit their website and fill out an adoption application.
