Adoptable pet spotlight: Cocoa

Are you looking for a loving, well-mannered girl to add to your family? Well, you’ve found that in Cocoa! This young, Australian shepherd mix is available for adoption through Louisiana Lifeline for K9’s.

Meet Cocoa! She is an approximately year old, Australian shepherd mix. She is extremely mellow and content being loved on by most anybody, any time! She is a bit leery of men at first but has warmed up to the house of boys that she currently being fostered in. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. Cocoa loves people, and most of all children.

Unfortunately, Cocoa was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. She will have to take anti-inflammatory medication and will eventually require surgery for it. Cocoa is the perfect girl and very well mannered. She is house trained and non-destructive in the house. She is kennel trained, loves to go for rides and she walks well on the leash! Cocoa is located in a foster home in Leesville, LA.
