Adoptable pet spotlight: Gunner

Are you looking for an energetic puppy to join your household? Meet Gunner! This 8-month-old Golden Retriever is looking for a home through Gold Ribbon Rescue.
Gunner, an adoptable Golden Retriever puppy.

Gunner is a young, 8-month-old Golden Retriever puppy. He is ready to explore, run and cavort. His previous owners realized that they did not have the time to direct that energy with training and outdoor activities. Left to his own imagination, Gunner came up with his own ideas including counter surfing, bolting out the front door, and pulling like a tractor when on a leash. All totally expected when pent-up puppy energy meets opportunity!

In Gunner’s case, that energy is combined with an outstanding, sweet personality in a relatively small (for a Golden) package. Gunner is wonderful with children, but not a fan of cats. He is very intelligent, and in the short time with his foster, he is already showing that he is a very interested and fast learner. His potential is inspiring! Gunner is more than ready to show you what a fine Golden he is becoming.

Gunner would be best in a home with humans that would enjoy participating in the amazing transformation that takes place when puppy energy is directed into constructive training and pure fun. Gunner’s fondest wish in his forever home is for indoor and outdoor interaction on a daily basis. More information on Gunner is coming as he reveals his full personality to his GRR fosters.
