Adoptable pet spotlight: Meet Hank

Looking for a lovable, playful family dog? Meet Hank, an eight month old American Pit Bull Terrier puppy at Lady Luck Animal Rescue in south Florida.

Hank, Hank-a-doodle, Hankalicious, Hanky – call him what you want…this boy will steal your heart! Hank is approximately a 8 month old American Pit Bull Terrier puppy. He has a beautiful shiny jet black coat with white chest/chin/paw markings.  Hank was rescued from a high kill shelter where he got so sick he almost died in the kennel. We got him out in time and rushed him straight to our vet.  Today, he has a clean bill of health, and waiting for his furever home. Other pups have come through the foster home and have been since adopted …but everyone keeps overlooking poor Hank – and we aren’t sure why.

Hank loves all people, dogs and even cats. He is so excited to meet new dogs that he wont stop giving them kisses. He is such a goofy and happy boy, but also loves to snuggle with you during nap time. He loves it when you throw him toys as he will go chase and retrieve them. He carries toys in his mouth all the time (especially when he is excited) and loves to share them with others. He is very talkative and will even respond (“talk back”) when you talk to him. He is crate trained and almost potty trained. He knows how to “sit” and he is eager to learn more!

Hank has been fecal tested negative, dewormed, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He is being fostered in Pompano Beach, FL.

Hank is available for adoption through Lady Luck Animal Rescue, Inc. Contact for more information or an adoption application or call 754-366-3669 (leave a message).
