Adoptable pet spotlight: Hope

Hope had a rough start in life, but you’d never know it with her attitude. This sweet and loving boxer mix is available through Destiny for Dogs in South Florida.

Beautiful, sweet Hope needs a second chance at life.  Destiny for Dogs has spent over $2,500.00 in medical bills to give her a second chance.  Hope is truly a miracle dog.  This little girl has been through so much and deserves a life of love which is something she has not experienced until she was rescued.

When Hope was rescued from the local Animal Control she was in the process of being euthanized when we stopped it to rescue her.

This was her condition:

She had been hit by a car, was heartworm positive, had a detached retina due to trauma, had glaucoma and also needed to be spayed and vetted.

She is now heartworm negative, has been fully vetted and will need eye drops for the rest of her life. Her left eye has no vision due to the detached retina.  Hope is the sweetest girl and just wants to please you and give you love.  Hope is potty trained and crate trained. We believe she is a boxer/pit bull mix.

Hope is available for adoption through Destiny for Dogs in Pompano Beach, Fl.
