Adoptable pet spotlight: Inky

Are you looking for an active, intelligent dog to join your family? Meet Inky, a sweet and pet-friendly dalmatian available through Operation Paws for Homes in Virginia.

Meet Inky!  This gorgeous girl came to OPH from South Carolina.  She’s a wonderful Dalmatian and a very sweet girl!  Inky has been through a lot in a short amount of time, and she is learning that life has a lot of wonderful things to offer.  She has made a lot of progress, which we knew would happen!  Inky does wonderfully with other dogs.  She is fostered with two labs and has met several foster dogs.

Inky is incredibly smart and very loyal.  Inky is learning her basic commands and absolutely will do anything for a bone!

Dalmatians are highly intelligent dogs and are active dogs.  Best known as the star of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, this sleek and athletic dog breed has a history that goes back several hundred years.  Dalmatians can be a bit headstrong so training must be consistent.

Inky likes to explore and play and be outside.  She loves to enjoy the outdoors and the new sites and adventures around her.  She is likely deaf or has very little hearing, so an understanding family will be a great match!

Inky does great with other dogs and with cats.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.  Inky is fostered in Alexandria, Virginia.

Inky is available for adoption through Operation Paws for Homes. Visit their website or email for more information.

Thank you for featuring Inky! She is an incredibly sweet and loving girl. She was a little lost when she arrived into our rescue, but has settled in wonderfully! We can only imagine how confusing the journey to us must have been.

Inky is fostered with other dogs and does wonderfully with everyone! She’s so smart and so eager to learn. She is a great dog and deserving of a wonderful forever home.

I spent a day with Inky recently in Old Town Virginia. She is gorgeous with beautiful sparkly eyes that look at everything inquisitively. Her marking and stature is gorgeous and she turned a lot of heads. She is agile and athletic and loves checking out need things and people. She was great in a crowd or on her own. Inky loved all the dogs and people she met. She is a great young lady.

  • Inky is a fantastic dog and would be a great addition to any family!! Operation Paws for Homes is a first class organization and I’m proud to foster and volunteer for them!
