Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Meet Owen

This week’s PetMeds adoptable pet spotlight is on Owen. He is available for adoption in Wilburton, OK.

Owen is looking for a forever home of his own

Delta at The Wilburton Paws tell us this about Owen:

The dog was dumped on the Donoley’s property last week and one of our volunteers took him to our pens. We cleaned him up and then took him to our vet. Dr. Tim said that the dog is 6 or 7 and has a bad hip. The dog, we named him Owen, will have to be adopted to a family that will watch his hip and give him a good diet and plenty of love. He will need joint enhancers every day and ibuprofin as needed for his pain. He is already neutered and is up to date on his shots and wormed. He is in a pen with two other dogs and seems to get along with them pretty good.

He is very friendly to people and loves to be scratched. I can tell that at one time he was loved very much and I can’t imagine why he was thrown away like he was. If only they could talk.

Owen is doing good but would sure love a forever home.
He would even love a foster home.
Thanks Pet Meds for trying to find him a fmaily who will take good care of him.
