Adoptable pet spotlight: Mister

Mister needs a loving, understanding family to give him a forever home! This Shiba Inu boy is available for adoption through Secondhand Hounds.

Mister the Shiba Inu is up for adoption in MN.

Mister came from a puppy mill auction in Iowa where he spent the first seven years of his life being used only to breed. He has now been in a foster home for the past five months learning what living with a family is all about. He has come a long way, but he still has a long way to go. Mister is good with other dogs, but he is still unsure about people, love, and attention. He will need an experienced adopter who is willing to work with him and take him to the next level. A fenced in yard is a must. He is house trained and can be let out freely, but he is terrified of a leash still so potty time requires a fence. He is a quiet boy and doesn’t put up a huge fuss when being brushed… and he needs LOTS of brushings being a Shiba.

Mister is an approximately 7-year-old Shiba Inu who was recently rescued from a puppy mill. He is dog-friendly but is not good with cats or children. At 30 pounds, he is a medium-sized boy.

Mister is available for adoption through Secondhand Hounds in Eden Prairie, MN. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application on the Secondhand Hounds website. You can also see more about Mister here.
