I would like to introduce you to Lucky. Lucky was an abused dog from Kentucky who found himself in a high kill shelter in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. He was terrified in the shelter and was fostered by a wonderful woman named Gina. I found him on Petfinder.com and fell in love. I adopted him and he is the love of our family’s lives. Enclosed is the picture of his journey from the shelter to our home in Boston. I hope more people will rescue dogs that find themselves in a homeless situation and many times only given 72 hours to be adopted or put down. Lucky is an amazing dog and has come a long way in the 7 months that we have had him. He IS our “Lucky from Kentucky.”
Thank you for sharing Lucky’s rescue and adoption story with us; Lucky looks so happy to have joined your family!
