Today’s Pet meds Spotlight is on Preventic Tick Collars. In rural areas, especially smaller dogs with a body closer to the ground, ticks can be an true nuisance. In these instances, a tick collar may be the best option for your pet.
Not to be confused with a flea and tick collar, Preventic Tick Collars do not kill or control flea populations. With a three month effective period, the collar should be used with a “flea only” monthly preventative to make sure your pet is safe from both fleas and ticks.
Preventic Tick Collars detach and kill ticks and it is used to control mites, lice, and other animal pests.
