Rescue Spotlight: A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue

A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue is a non-profit rescue group located in Palm Beach County, Florida.  Established in 2007, this organization is staffed by volunteers. Their goal is to save homeless pets by providing them with a loving foster home until a forever home is found, with a focus on pregnant and nursing pets and their puppies and kittens. To date, this rescue group has already saved over 3,900 animals.  They also work to promote animal welfare by providing education about the importance of spaying and neutering.

The animals of A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue are cared for in a foster home and are provided with veterinary care, are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Interested in adopting? The Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue website has a list of animals available for adoption or sponsorship. If you see an animal you would like to adopt, register with their website and complete an Adoption Application.

If you are not able to adopt an animal in need, there are other ways to help. Your tax-deductible monetary donation goes directly towards caring for the dogs and cats in foster care, or you can sponsor a specific dog or cat. You may volunteer with A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue to assist at adoption events, or volunteer to become a foster parent. This organization accepts donations of supplies such as cleaning supplies, pet food, pet treats, paper towels, and cat litter. PetMeds was proud to help support this organization with a donation of pet supplies and dog biscuits.
