Located in Nashville, TN, Desperate House Cats is an organization dedicated to rescuing stray, abandoned and homeless cats from shelters, thereby saving them from euthanasia. They do not have an actual office of shelter, but foster these cats in their own homes until the cat is adopted. This organization has been in existence for 7 years now, with foster families throughout Murfreesboro to Hermitage, and at least 600 cats have found homes through the Desperate House Cats rescue.
Interested in adopting from Desperate House Cats? All of their cats have been tested and are negative for FIV and FeLV. You can search their listing of adoptable pets, and if you are interested in one of the cats, fill out their adoption application. They only require that the adopted cat lives inside, is provided with plenty of love and regular veterinary care, and that you do not declaw the cat.
PetMeds was proud to support Desperate House Cats with a donation of pet supplies
