Rescue Spotlight: Have a Heart Animal Rescue and Adoption

Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Have a Heart Animal Rescue and Adoption is a small, non-profit local animal rescue group. They do not have an actual shelter, but instead rely on foster homes provided by volunteers.  While they focus mainly on cats and kittens, they do sometimes have dogs in foster care for adoption. In addition to providing loving foster homes, the organization ensures that the adoptable pets are current on vaccinations, dewormed, and treated with flea medications.

Have a Heart Animal Rescue and Adoption has pets available for adoption posted on their website.  If you are interested in any of the pets looking for a forever home, complete the online adoption application. After your application has been reviewed and your vet reference checked, the organization will schedule an appointment for you to meet the prospective adoptee.

How can you help Have a Heart Animal Rescue and Adoption? The non-profit organization gratefully accepts your tax-deductible donation.  You can also donate needed supplies such as blankets, towels, crates, cat litter and litter boxes.  The organization is always looking for foster homes for cats, kittens, puppies and dogs.

PetMeds was proud to support Have a Heart Animal Rescue and Adoption with a donation of pet supplies.
