Pet Meds Spotlight: Rimadyl for Joint Pain in Pets

Today’s Pet meds Spotlight is on Rimadyl, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation due to arthritis and other joint diseases, including hip dysplasia. It is also used to treat surgical pain and to reduce fever.

Novox is a generic equivalent for Rimadyl (carprofen) caplets.

Both require a prescription from your veterinarian.
