Grateful Paws is a non-profit organization located in South Florida. They rescue dogs and cats and place them in a foster home, with the ultimate goal of finding these pets a loving Forever home. They do not have a shelter facility, and believe that a home environment is better for the pets than a shelter. Because the pets are in a home environment, they are better able to observe the dog or cat’s behavior and characteristics, which ultimately makes for a better match with a potential adopter.
While the pet lives with their foster family, Grateful Paws provides or pays for everything the pet needs, including supplies and necessary veterinary care. The group is composed entirely of volunteers. Grateful Paws relies on donations as well as volunteers willing to provide temporary foster care for a pet in need.
Any dog or cat adopted from Grateful Paws have been spayed or neutered, is current on necessary vaccinations and is thoroughly vetted and microchipped. Grateful Paws has a Petfinder page where you can see all of their adoptable dogs and cats.
