Today’s Spotlight is on the Silky Terrier. A small dog, generally the breed stands 9 to 10 inches tall. An extremely loyal companion that does wonderfully indoors, Silky Terriers are considered a relative to the Yorkshire Terrier, and has many of the same traits. The main difference is in height and length.
Considered a “hypoallergenic” dog, Silky Terriers are prone to dry skin, so a healthy diet is very important. Although the dog thrives indoors, it should still receive daily exercise and brushing, and weekly grooming.
